BAAS in Christian Studies
- 124 total credit hours
- Earn a comprehensive education though general education, elective, and major-specific classes, such as biblical interpretation, ministry, and Christian doctrines.
Degree Information
The Christian Studies major requires 40 junior-senior level semester hours.
General Education Requirements: 42 hours
- Major Degree Requirements: 30 hours in junior-senior level courses
- Optional Minor: 18-24 hours
- Electives (with optional minor): 25-31 hours
- Electives (without optional minor): 49 hours
- Total Degree Requirements: 124 hours
Note:
- A maximum of 21 hours may be earned in any one department.
- Students are required to complete a minimum of 31 hours through HPU.
- A minimum of 18 upper-level hours must be completed for a bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 12 upper-level hours must be earned in the student’s major.
- A minimum of 6 hours upper-level hours must be earned in the minor, if chosen.
